My why. I was struggling with keeping up with them. I was frustrated and my patience was lacking. I didn’t want to come home and wish for bedtime. I wanted them to have amazing adventure filled memories. I was struggling with how to change it.
I watched and watched for months as people stopped drinking coffee. They were doing all the things everyday. I remember thinking yeah okay like it really works. I remember thinking a few times just give it a try but it’s so expensive. I kept watching and one day I was like okay sure I’ll give these samples a try. They arrived in my mail box and they sat on my counter for weeks. I remember crying because I just wanted to spend more time with my kids. Because I felt like awful. Because I never had any energy. I wanted a change.
The next day I tried the samples and let me tell you. I did all the things. I snuggled with my kiddos. We read books. We played with their toys.
I did it for them. They are my why. I work hard for them.
