As a female (in particular but not exclusively), the gym can be a daunting place and even with a number of years of training under your belt, it can be quite intimidating and uncomfortable in commercial gyms in my personal experience. Which is one of my biggest struggles about living in Southampton most of the time.

Therefore I am going to make the most of EVERY SINGLE SESSION that I have there over the coming weeks and I can’t wait to move back here permanently in a few years 💪🏽.

Lo scheletro costituisce la struttura portante del corpo umano ed è formato dallinsieme delle ossa, variamente unite tra di loro da formazioni più o meno mobili. ➡️ Le ossa sono composte:
• esternamente da uno strato compatto di lamelle.
• internamente, a livello delle epifisi, da trabecole che non sono compatte ma si intersecano tra loro formando losso spugnoso.
• dal periostio, che è una membrana biancastra che riveste lesterno dellosso ed è attraversata da numerosi vasi linfatici, sanguigni e da fibre nervose.
• dallendostio, che è una membrana che riveste la cavità midollare dellosso.
• dal midollo osseo, presente nella diafisi delle ossa lunghe e nella fascia centrale delle ossa piatte; è deputato alla produzione delle cellule sanguigne, dei globuli bianchi e dei linfociti. ➡️ Esistono tre tipi di ossa:
• ossa lunghe, constano di una diafisi (la parte centrale dellosso), e di due epifisi (le due estremità dellosso). Sono ossa lunghe per esempio il femore, la tibia, lomero, il radio e lulna.
• ossa corte, sono generalmente cuboidali e sono per esempio quelle del polso e della caviglia.

I struggled with countless injuries when I was dancing. .

I often blamed dance for causing my injuries and not the fact that I wasn’t eating right and was pushing myself to extremes. .

After becoming educated a personal trainer and physical therapist assistant, I now use ballet to help shape my workouts and prevent my body from injury! .

Yes, you heard me. Ballet movements can help you become strong and prevent you against injury…if performed with proper mechanics. .

So any one who thinks, “ballet is only for elite athletes,” “my body isn’t right for ballet,” “ballet will hurt me,” “I heard ballet ruins peoples ankles.” .

Ballet is such a positive art and exercise form. 
Not only do I feel energized after a good workout but, my workouts are super time efficient as well.

Ballet promotes posture, alignment, core stability, flexibility and also strength. .

So don’t be scared of doing a ballet inspired workout just because some “ballerinas” are able to kick up to their eyes.

No soy fan de desayunar licuados, pero hay días que el tiempo lo traemos ENCIMA, y prefiero mil veces un licuado a salir a mi rutina sin desayunar.

OJO 👁 los licuados o smoothies son esas opciones que se ven bonitas y suenan “healthy” pero FÁCILMENTE podemos hacerlos una bomba de azúcar si no cuidamos la cantidad de los ingredientes.

Mi recomendación: que sea un tiempo de comida COMPLETO (que tenga carbs+proteína+grasa+fibra) & que NO sea una bomba de azúcar.

Este es mi favorito 😋:
•✅Carbohidrato: 1/2 plátano 🍌 (o 1 porción de la fruta q más te guste).
⚠️CONTROLA la cantidad de fruta, 1 porción es suficiente. Ponerle Muchas frutas no brinda muchos nutrientes solo hace que sea mucha cantidad de azúcar.
•✅PROTEÍNA: 2 cdas de yogurt griego plain 🍦.
•✅GRASA: 1 cda de almond butter 🌰🥜.
•✅FIBRA: 2 puños de espinaca fresca (añade color, antioxidantes y fibra sin alterar el sabor de los otros ingredientes) 🥬.
•✳️EXTRAS: licúa con 1 taza leche de coco 🥥, hielo, stevia y gotitas de vainilla.
